What is downpayment insurance?

Vapaus insures all benefit bikes up to the package’s maximum contract value. If your bike exceeds this value and you pay a down payment, you can protect that investment by insuring its full value.

Down Payment Insurance Details:

• Cost: 2.96% of the total down payment amount, billed annually to your Vapaus account.
• Selection & Payment: Must be selected and paid directly via your Vapaus account when accepting your order draft.
• Delivery Requirement: All open invoices (including the downpayment insurance fee) must be paid before your bike can be handed over or delivered.

Important: Down payment insurance cannot be added retrospectively once a contract is active.
