Finland’s tax-free sports and culture benefit is going up from €400 to €540 a year, and it now covers more ways to stay active. For the first time, you can use it to rent sports equipment, including a regular bike or an e-bike. You can rent for a single ride or for the whole season. Employers can apply the new limit already this year (2026), but the increase isn’t automatic. Your employer decides how much benefit you get, so check with your HR team.

Not quite. It's a rental: you ride it, then swap it or hand it back. There's no buyout at the end and no bike to sell later.
We're setting prices now, and your waitlist answers help decide them. Your employer's sports and culture benefit can be up to 540 € a year, depending on what your employer offers.
We're aiming for early spring 2027. People on the waitlist hear first.
We don’t know yet. We’re checking with the Finnish Tax Administration what’s possible under the sports and culture benefit rules, and we’re shaping the service around what riders actually want. Your answers in the waitlist survey help us decide, and we’ll let everyone on the list know as soon as we have a clear answer. Either way, you’ll never be required to buy the bike.
Normal bikes and pedal-assist e-bikes. Rent of electric scooters and mopeds aren't covered by the sport benefit.
The benefit pays for the rental itself. Servicing and cover come as an optional care plan, paid separately.
